Susanville
Located just 29 minutes from Foxwood is the welcoming town of Susanville. As the county seat of Lassen County, Susanville has some of the amenities of a big city with the friendly atmosphere of a small town. The shopping in Susanville is varied with some antique shops, boutiques, a Wal*Mart and a Safeway. The dining choices in Susanville vary from fast food chains to sit-down restaurants. Also located in Susanville is the Diamond Mountain Casino. Open 24 hours a day, this 26,000 square foot casino has three restaurants including a 24 hour café and a steakhouse, a sports bar, 208 slot machines and four different table games. Susanville is home to Lassen Community College, a public institution open to all high school graduates or non-graduates over the age of 18. Susanville is also home to Banner Lassen Medical Center, a state-of-the-art medical center whose mission is to make a difference in people’s lives through excellent patient care. The new facility was built in 2003, and is considered the healthcare hub of northeastern California. There are movie theaters, golf courses and a proposed ski resort and additional conveniences available to shoppers.

Located approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes south of Foxwood is the “Biggest Little City in the World” – RENO, NEVADA.
